Famous Russian promoter saw no chance for Oleksandr in the rematch

Well-known Russian promoter Vladimir Khryunov doubts the ability of Ukrainian heavyweight Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) to defeat Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) in a rematch. Khryunov believes that the Briton will leave no chance for the 37-year-old Crimean.

"Fury will win in a landslide. I am rooting for him. We are personal friends," Khryunov said.

According to the promoter, he particularly admires Tyson for his respect for significant people in the boxing world.

"Tyson has a suit that has portraits of important boxing figures embroidered on it. My portrait is also there," he added.

Khryunov believes that Fury will be able to get his act together and demonstrate his strength in the rematch. "It will be interesting to watch," the Russian summarized.

The second fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury is scheduled for December 22 and will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In the comments, Russian fans ridiculed Khryunov's prediction.

"Damn, I was wondering what kind of pig Fury has embroidered on his suit," "Victory will be ours," Khryunov whispered, clenching his hooves in his fists," users mocked.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, former head coach of the Russian boxing team Alexander Lebzyak told a lie about Usyk being a product of the "Soviet school". The expert also expressed confidence that the Ukrainian is the favorite in the rematch with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).

Earlier it became known that Fury wants to organize a trilogy with Usyk to make boxing history. In addition, the Briton accused the Ukrainian of disrupting the timing of the rematch.

In the first fight, Oleksandr defeated Tyson by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute world heavyweight champion.
