Parma and Russia get into a scandal

Russia continues to disgrace itself with its so-called international competitions. For example, the "Friendship Cup" in basketball started in Perm, and in the first match, the local "Parma" destroyed the "Colombian national team" with an impressive score of 155:53.

However, as it turned out, the Russians played with a team of unknown athletes, and the Colombian Basketball Federation (FCB) is already threatening sanctions for using its symbols in the tournament. The organization stated that it had not received an invitation to the tournament from Russia and had not sent its national team there.

"The Colombian Basketball Federation has not received an official invitation to participate in the Russian Friendship Cup. The Colombian Basketball Federation has not given approval to any club or educational institution in the country to participate in the Russian Friendship Cup. The Colombian Basketball Federation will take legal action in connection with the improper use of our image or logo without prior authorization," the FCB said in a press release.

It is interesting that the Russians were not embarrassed by these details. The official website of the Russian Basketball Federation (FBR) continues to carry the news with the headline "Parma defeated Colombia", and the Perm team's social media accounts also do not mention that the opponent does not represent the South American country.

It should be noted that in early summer, the BRICS Games were held in Russia, where one or two athletes from the aggressor country participated in many disciplines.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, a four-point shot was scored in the Philippines for the first time in the history of basketball.
