Poles unblocked the movement of one of the checkpoints

Polish farmers have stopped blocking truck traffic at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. At the same time, as of Thursday morning, March 21, 4 directions remain blocked for truck traffic: Yahodyn, Ustyluh, Uhryniv, and Rava-Ruska.

This was announced by the State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko during a telethon. According to him, Ukrainian border guards received information about the unblocking of the Medik-Shehyni border crossing yesterday, Wednesday, March 20, at about 21:30.

It was reported by Polish border guards. They informed the State Border Guard Service that Polish farmers had completed blocking the movement of trucks entering and leaving Poland.

"Therefore, the registration of this transport category began to be carried out in the usual manner," Demchenko said.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Polish farmers during large-scale protests across the country began to block the movement of passenger buses on the border with Ukraine at the Medyka-Shehyni checkpoint. In this regard, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov appealed to Polish Interior Minister Marcin Kierwinski.
