American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Justin Watson (1-2) has clinched a record-breaking victory in a bare-knuckle fight. The featherweight match of BKFC 69 show sensationally ended in the third second.
Watson had previously lost two fights in a row and was a clear underdog before facing Ferrell. However, he was able to finish the fight against his compatriot Cole Ferrell (1-1) with the first punch.
As soon as the referee gave the signal to start the fight, Watson knocked down his opponent with a right overhand.
Later, one of the judges showed the timer, which was stopped at 2.9 seconds.
The previous record was set in 2020 by Cuban welterweight Ulysses Diaz ("Monster"), who knocked out American v in one just move too. The fight lasted 3 seconds.
