Most Chinese automakers expect to end by 2030

Chinese electric car makers, which offer mostly cheap cars, are already facing serious problems. They will become disruptive by 2030, and many companies will see the end.

This is the kind of analysis reported by Carscoops. It is known that the Chinese market is frankly overheated, and the fight for local buyers is becoming more difficult. For two years Chinese companies have been waging a "price war" in their home market to attract a rapidly shrinking base of potential buyers.

This is causing less resilient manufacturers to lose profits. Without revenues, it is impossible to continue operating - this will lead to a rapid decline in the number of Chinese manufacturers.

Today, there are 137 electric car manufacturers in China. These are companies of different sizes. It is predicted that by the end of the decade, only 19 of them will make a profit in the market. The rest will remain without income and may disappear altogether.

Obviously, only the largest manufacturers will remain on the market. Or those companies that can count on unlimited help from the Chinese state. But against the background of the general slowdown of the Chinese economy, such a scenario of survival also raises questions.
