"It is indeed a country of slaves": Budanov explained why there were no major protests in Russia due to significant losses in Ukraine
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, gave two reasons why protests did not break out in Russia over huge losses in Ukraine. One of them is that Russia is a country of slaves.
Budanov said this during the United News TV marathon. Earlier, experts predicted that protests might arise in Russia due to losses in Ukraine, but so far this has not happened.
"A number of experts have talked about this (possible protests in Russia - Ed.)..." he said.
The head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine added that he is cautious about this. At the same time, he named two reasons why such processes are not taking place in Russia.
"Why did it not happen? There are two reasons: the first is a moral one because Russia is indeed a country of slaves, and the second is what I told you about. Everyone in Russia is making money on this now. There is no other job but to join the Armed Forces. For the majority of Russians, this is actually a reality," Budanov explained.
It is worth noting that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba believes that it is inappropriate to call the residents of the aggressor state of Russia slaves. He noted that even slaves have rebelled, while Russians "obediently listen" to everything that dictator Vladimir Putin imposes on them.
As reported, earlier, Kuleba responded to Pope Francis' call to raise a "white flag" and enter Russia-Ukraine negotiations. The official warned against repeating historical mistakes and reminded that the flag of our country is blue and yellow and will not raise any other.
