Is it really a horror movie? There are rumors about a new movie by Oscar-winning Christopher Nolan

Hollywood insiders know for certain that Oscar-winning director Christopher Nolan has already started working on his next movie. But there are almost no details about it in the press.

Meanwhile, film critic Jordan Ruimy's blog World of Reel managed to find out something about Nolan's new project. Currently, there are three assumptions about what he is creating right now. There is no official confirmation of any of the versions, but they are all very interesting and intriguing.

A horror movie

This information was spread by Grace Randolph, a YouTuber who reviews movies. She suggested that Nolan might be working on a horror movie. However, World of Reel has been able to confirm this speculation with two sources.

Futuristic action movie

This information surfaced on Reddit. Its users found out that Nolan and his team are currently working with the NYPD Aviation Unit. This suggests that the director's next work will be a futuristic action movie. It will be set in New York, and the main character will be a helicopter pilot who leads an aviation unit in the United States. The plot is likely to revolve around the creation of an ultra-modern but dangerous helicopter, which is also hunted by terrorists.

According to Insiders, Nolan has already distributed to his team members a certain version of the script of the 1983 movie "Blue Thunder" starring Roy Scheider. This John Bedham action movie is periodically included in lists of the most underrated films of the 80s. It should be noted that the source claims that the film will not be a remake of Blue Thunder, but Nolan was largely inspired by this particular film. He is a fan of this work and used it as a starting point for the project.

A remake of the British series

This rumor was first published by The Hollywood Reporter. However, the journalists later explained that they were not sure whether it was true or not. According to the publication, Nolan is actually planning to remake The Prisoner, a famous British TV series from the 70s. And many online praised the choice of Matt Damon for the lead role in such a project.
