On Tuesday, January 28, Russian occupation forces used a drone to attack a civilian car in Pokrovsk. The hood of the VAZ-2106 car had the inscription "people" on it.

As a result of a direct hit, a person was killed and wounded. This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor's office.

"In Pokrovsk, Russian troops attacked a civilian car with a drone, killing one and injuring two citizens," the statement said.

The 60-year-old woman, who was in the front passenger seat, died from injuries that turned out to be incompatible with life.

In addition, a 52-year-old woman and the driver were injured and are now under medical supervision. All victims are receiving qualified medical care.

The Pokrovsk Prosecutor's Office has already launched a pre-trial investigation into a war crime, which provides for liability for violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As a reminder, Russian occupants continued to attack the Kherson territorial community on January 28. In Kherson, at least three citizens were injured by enemy drones.

At night, Russia attacked Ukraine with hundreds of drones. Air defense forces shot down 65 Shaheds in 13 regions of our country, and some areas were destroyed.

In particular, in Odesa, the enemy attack damaged houses and burned cars, injuring four people.

Russian troops also hit a woodworking shop in Kharkiv with a Shahed, causing a large-scale fire over an area of about 1,500 square meters.

And in the Kyiv region, a museum of vintage cars from the collection of fugitive former President Viktor Yanukovych burned down.
