In Kyiv, Shahed fragments hit a high-rise building: details have emerged. Photos and video
On the night of January 10, Russian troops sent Shahed-type attack drones to Kyiv. Air defense was operating in the city. The wreckage of the downed enemy drone fell on a high-rise building.
The wreckage hit the Solomianskyi district of the capital. The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported this on Telegram.
At about 2:10 a.m., he noted that air defense forces were operating in the capital. The Air Force warned that Shahed was heading for Kyiv from the south.
"In Solomianskyi district, fragments of an enemy UAV hit a high-rise building. Preliminary, there were no casualties. Windows and six cars were damaged. Services are working at the scene," Tkachenko wrote.
Yevhen, a resident of a high-rise building, told KC: Kyiv News about the nighttime attack by the Shahedis on the capital. He noted that he heard a strange sound in the middle of the night and hid, adding, "As you can see, it was not for nothing."
The Telegram channel LOS SOLOMAS. KIEV Telegram channel published a photo with the consequences of the Russian attack in the Solomianskyi district of the capital. Bricks can be seen on the roof of a high-rise building, which crumbled after being hit by the fragments of a downed drone.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine published a photo of the aftermath of the Shahed hitting a high-rise building in Kyiv.
"In Solomianskyi district, a drone hit the technical floor of a 16-story residential building. Fortunately, a fire was avoided. A car was damaged in the yard. Preliminary, there were no casualties. As of 10:30 a.m., the dangerous structures on the roof and technical floor have been cleared. Work is underway on the stairwell," the statement said.
Footage of the aftermath of the fall of the enemy drone in the Solomianskyi district of Kyiv was published by Channel 5 on Telegram.

– On January 8, Russian troops attacked industrial infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia with two UAVs, and public transport and residential buildings also came under fire. The attack killed 13 people and injured 122, including a child.
– On the afternoon of January 9, Russian occupants dropped four bombs on Kherson, damaging 39 buildings in the city. Nine local residents were injured.
– Also on January 9, Russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih with Iskander missiles. All missiles were shot down by Ukrainian air defense forces.
