Unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) admitted that he has some health problems after his fight with Daniel Dubois (19-2, 18 KOs). The Ukrainian boxer, who won by technical knockout on August 26, added that he was not seriously injured.

Usyk said this in an interview on his YouTube channel Usyk17. Our compatriot, who is soon to fight Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion, will be fully prepared for his training camp.

"I can't say that everything is fine. There are some things, of course, that need to be healed. Some old injuries have come out. But, thank God, everything is under control. In my opinion," said Usyk, who missed a punch below the belt in the fifth round of the fight against Dubois.

On September 29, Oleksandr and Tyson signed a contract for the most anticipated fight of recent years. Usyk commented on the upcoming fight against Fury, calling his opponent an avatar and questioning one of the terms of the agreement. In turn, Tyson himself spoke about the Ukrainian with disgrace and said it would be easy to fight him.

In addition, Usyk's promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk named a condition under which the fight with Fury could be canceled. And the Ukrainian's ex-trainer Sergey Vatamaniuk called for taking the Gypsy King seriously.

Promoter Bob Arum named a prerequisite for the fight. He also added that his ward would receive a 9-figure sum for the fight with the Ukrainian.

The media have found out that the fight would take place before the New Year or in January. The legendary Mike Tyson recently made his prediction for the fight of the year. The International Boxing Federation (IBF) has put forward its demand for Usyk and Fury to fight.

The World Boxing Organization (WBO) responded to the organization of the fight between Oleksandr and Tyson by naming a contender for the winner's title. And former world champion Andy Ruiz named the main problem of the British.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Oleksandr Usyk called Tyson Fury a "pot-bellied handsome" and said hello. The Ukrainian boxer also spoke about the imminent end of his career.
