Raspberries are one of the healthiest summer berries. Raspberries are a real storehouse of useful trace elements and have immunoprotective properties due to their high vitamin C content. Experts say that the berry helps with kidney disease, visual impairment, and will be useful for problems with the cardiovascular system and gastrointestinal tract.

An interesting method of growing raspberries is gaining popularity online. Simon Akeroyd, author of books on gardening, talked about an unusual method that guarantees a generous and high-quality harvest.

Step-by-step instructions

It all starts with ordinary raspberries, whether picked from the garden or bought in the supermarket.

Step 1: preparation

The first step is to crush the raspberries and place them on kitchen paper. Leave the berries in this state for a few days to get the seeds.

Step 2: planting

Pour peat-free compost into a regular plastic container. Next, cut the kitchen paper with the seeds to fit the container.

Step 3: germination

Put the seeds in the soil, cover them with compost, and leave them on a sunny windowsill to germinate.

Alternatively, you can tear the kitchen paper with the seeds into pieces and plant them in the garden bed or in large pots.

Step 4: care

In a few weeks, the first sprouts will appear. You should continue to water and care for the plants so that they can grow and develop. It is important to apply additional fertilizer as needed and remove weeds regularly.
