Former Dynamo Kyiv footballer Artem Milevsky, who recently underwent treatment in a Kyiv clinic, has been coded for alcoholism. In addition, the former Ukrainian national team striker lost almost 20 kilograms during his rehabilitation.

Goran Popov, a former player of the White and Blues and Milevsky's partner, told RB Sport about this in a commentary to the portal. According to the Macedonian, he personally communicated with Artem, who is soon to receive an invitation to one of the administrative positions at Dynamo.

"I talked to Milevsky, he's recovering, he's been treated for two and a half months, everything is fine. He lost 20 kg, he looks great now. Of course, he still needs more treatment, but he's fine - he doesn't drink, his health is much better. He stopped drinking. Because he was coded. Artem is still in Kyiv. Ihor Surkis will give him a job, either with the youth or with the first team of Dynamo Kyiv, so that Milevsky can come back to life. Let's see how he uses this chance. The main thing is not to repeat previous mistakes," Popov said.

Last weekend, Milevsky made his first public appearance since his hospitalization in September. According to former Dynamo player Oleksandr Aliyev, his old friend had been in a coma for some time.

In the fall, a video of Artem was posted online, after which fans called on the former footballer's friends to save his life. Milevsky was hospitalized, and Dynamo president Ihor Surkis covered all the costs of his treatment. The media learned how much it cost for the former footballer to undergo rehabilitation.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Artem Fedetsky, a former player of the Ukrainian national team, Lviv's Karpaty, Shakhtar Donetsk and Dnipro, told what really happened to Milevsky.
