Russians continue to complain about the shelling of Belgorod, which has been happening almost every day lately. Russian propagandists and residents of the city publish videos and photos of the debris collected at the sites of the attacks.

However, this debris is not from Ukrainian missiles, but from the ammunition used by Russian air defense to shoot them down. This was noted by Oleksandr Kovalenko, a military and political observer of the Information Resistance group.

"Russian air defense missiles continue to fall on the heads of Belgorod residents. In recent days, Belgorod residents have provided a lot of photos and videos with the wreckage of not Ukrainian missiles, but with elements of air defense systems for S-300, Tor-M2, Pantsyr-S1," he stated.

The Information Resistance observer also showed photos with fragments of Russian ammunition, which are being distributed online under the guise of "fragments of Ukrainian missiles."

At the same time, Kovalenko emphasized that, unlike the civilian population, numerous "military commanders" must understand exactly what they are showing as "proof" of the "crimes" of the Ukrainian army.

"Of course, the average resident of Belgorod will not be able to tell the difference between a 122-mm rocket and a 5B55 S-300, but the funny thing is that the so-called Russian 'military officers', who should in principle have at least some understanding of the types of weapons, present Russian SAMs as 'evidence' of the crimes of the Ukranian Nazis! Clowns," the expert wrote.

Meanwhile, Russian propagandists announced a new shelling of Belgorod, publishing photos of the aftermath. The propaganda media do not mention what percentage of the damage was caused by the "Belgorod air defense system", which Belgorodians massively confessed their love for on social media at the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression.

Earlier, on March 17, it was reported that explosions occurred in Belgorod after the Russian army attempted to shoot down targets. Local authorities and propaganda rushed to accuse Ukraine of terrorism and claim destruction and casualties.

It was also reported that fighters of the "Siberian Battalion" said they had entered the village of Gorkovsky near Belgorod and occupied the administration. Volunteers from the Freedom of Russia Legion and Chechen volunteers who support an independent Ichkeria reportedly took part in the operation.
