"Flying to Moscow": Russia complains about a new drone attack
For the second day in a row, the Moscow region of the Russian Federation has been talking about attacks by "Ukrainian" drones. On the night of November 20, a "lone" UAV exploded 50 km from the capital.
Propagandists claim that it was flying toward Moscow and was "destroyed" by Russian air defense. In particular, the mayor of the aggressor country's capital, Sergei Sobyanin, commented on the situation.
According to him, the drone was "shot down" in the city of Elektrostal a few hours before Monday. This city is located 52 kilometers east of the regional center.
The mayor claims that the UAV hit the site of the attack, but that it did not cause any damage or injuries. However, emergency services are "working at the scene".
A video of a bright flash near Moscow, allegedly filmed by a surveillance camera, was posted online. However, the video does not contain any indication of the date and time of the shooting. The Russians claim that this is the moment of "the downing of the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone."
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of November 19, Russians announced the downing of a drone in the Bogorodsky district near Moscow. The wreckage of the UAV, which was still smoking, landed on the Gorky Highway, which caused traffic to be blocked there.
