Cherkasy Monkeys won a confident 81-64 victory over BIPA in the capital's regular season Favbet Super League game. At the same time, the leader of the Monkeys, Andrii Agafonov, broke this season's sniper record, which is now 41 points per game.

The Cherkasy Monkeys were the first to take a small lead, taking a 7-0 lead in the middle of the first quarter, 14-7. However, BIPA calmly played back the deficit, and thanks to a strong start to the second quarter, Odesa took a +10 lead. Now the "Monkeys" began to win back, primarily thanks to Andriy Agafonov, who scored 22 points in the first half, to which he added 5 rebounds and 4 assists. As a result, it was the Cherkasy team that went into the break with a +5 lead.

The game did not change in the second half, except that BIPA began to realize its chances worse, while Agafonov continued to lead his team forward and before the last quarter Cherkasy Monkeys were already winning by 15 points.

In the last quarter, the fight did not work out and the whole intrigue was whether Agafonov would be able to break the Super League season scoring record set by Brantley Bynum the day before - 40 points against the Monkeys. And the Cherkasy Monkeys leader succeeded - 41 points, to which he added 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
