On the night of August 2, explosions were heard in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation: Russians complained about an attack by Ukrainian drones. Two of them flew to a power substation in the city of Tikhoretsk, and a fire broke out there.

This was reported by Russian media. The propagandists claim that the substation's operation was allegedly not disrupted.

"Two drones attacked a power substation in the Krasnodar Territory. The drone attack on the power substation in Tikhoretsk took place around three in the morning on August 2. As a result of the attack, a transformer winding caught fire. In addition, 4 circuit breakers were damaged," one of the Russian Telegram channels noted.

The propagandists claim that "preliminary, the work of the substation has not been disrupted" and that no one was injured in the attack. Emergency services are working at the site.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry said that last night it allegedly "intercepted" four Ukrainian drones over the Krasnodar Territory. Two more, according to the occupiers, were "destroyed" over the Kursk region.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, powerful explosions occurred in Kursk at night. The Russians published a video of a nighttime "disco" and claimed that Russian air defense was working.

It was also reported that, according to Forbes, Ukraine surpassed Russia in July in the number of strikes by long-range drones.

The Russian Federation attacked our territory with 426 Shahed-type kamikaze drones, while Ukraine struck with more than 520 long-range drones.
