Child trafficking, pedophiles, and more. Russians publish fake news about Olena Zelenska and get caught again

Russians created a new fake about the first lady of Ukraine

Propagandists have once again been caught out by fakes about the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska. This time, the Russians accused her of child trafficking.

This was reported by Detector Media. The invaders are conducting a disinformation campaign against the wife of the President of Ukraine in order to influence Western readers.

To do this, they created a website called The Intel Drop, where they post false news in English. One of them was the news that the first lady's charity foundation was involved in child trafficking.

A non-existent journalist, Robert Schmidt, who is called either French or American in various Russian media, allegedly conducted an investigation. The "results" revealed that Olena Zelenska's foundation sends orphans abroad to escape the war and then sells them into sex slavery.

The main and only "evidence" was a YouTube video in which a man with a mask over his face introduced himself as a former employee of the organization and said that he had seen child trafficking with his own eyes. According to him, children were taken to different foster families where they became victims of pedophilia.

The propaganda media gleefully picked up the nonsense. In their "sensational" publications, they refer to an "American source" - the very same The Intel Drop that they themselves created. The website states that it allegedly operates from Reykjavik, Iceland. However, the website was registered in September 2022 in Amsterdam.

Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Daria Zarivna commented on the situation on her Telegram channel, saying that Russian bot farms are actively spreading fake news on social media. "They find photos of our children and write appropriate texts. Even a photo of my daughter appeared under it," she added.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA told how propagandists came up with another fake about Olena Zelenska. According to them, the first lady allegedly "spent more than a million dollars on Cartier jewelry." Read all the details in our article.
