Cheap models once again: what electric cars are the most popular in Ukraine

Electric cars remain popular in Ukraine amid rising fuel prices. At the same time, motorists prefer inexpensive models. Looking at a vast market, buyers have many opportunities to find suitable offers.

The statistics are provided by the Federation of Employers of Automotive Industry. Since the beginning of 2024, Ukrainians have bought 9,084 new passenger electric vehicles. This is 21.8% more than last year.

The most popular electric cars in Ukraine in 2024:

1. Volkswagen
2. Honda
3. BYD
4. Nissan
5. Zeekr
6. Audi
7. MG
8. Mercedes
9. BMW
10. Volvo

As always, manufacturers of low-cost electric vehicles are in the lead. Moreover, most of them come to Ukraine from China. This is cheaper because electric cars are very affordable in China.

And this applies not only to Chinese companies but also to foreign brands that produce their models in China.
