There was a malfunction in the working system of the Polish Customs Service. As a result, there may be traffic jams at the border at all checkpoints.

This was reported by the State Customs Service (SCS). They noted that the electronic customs clearance system on the neighboring side is currently operating in emergency mode.

"At all checkpoints on the Ukrainian-Polish border, there was a failure in the working system of the Customs Service of the Republic of Poland. There may be delays in the passage of freight vehicles by the customs service of the Republic of Poland," the statement said.

At the same time, the timeframe for restoring the system is not specified. The State Migration Service notes that it will be announced additionally about the elimination of malfunctions and the resumption of full-fledged work on the border with Poland.

At the same time, restrictions on traffic towards Ukraine have been imposed at the Ustyluh–Zosyn checkpoint on the Ukrainian-Polish border since September 3, which may slow down border crossing. The reason for this is repair work. They are expected to last until November 30.

Customs officials recommend that Ukrainians take this information into account when planning a trip or organizing logistics for the delivery of goods. They remind that traffic is allowed through Ustyluh–Zosyn:

  • vehicles weighing up to 7.5 tons – in both directions;
  • passenger buses – in both directions;
  • empty vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tons – to leave Ukraine (in an electronic queue).

Also, repairs at the Hrebenne–Rava-Ruska border crossing point will continue until September 12. Among other things, the works are being carried out at the passenger side of the border, as well as at the entry and exit cargo parking lots.

At the Dorohusk border crossing, the pavement is being repaired, which has caused traffic problems. It is expected that the repair work will continue until November 14.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the Ukrainian-Romanian border, the Solotvyno–Sighetu Marmatiei checkpoint has partially suspended the passage of vehicles since September 5. The reason is an emergency situation on the bridge over the Tisa River and repair work on it.
