Ukraine's goalkeeper Andriy Lunin got into a dispute with legendary German midfielder Toni Kroos on his return to Madrid after the first leg of the Champions League last-16 match against Leipzig. The Real Madrid players had a conflict over an episode at the very beginning of the match, when a goal by our compatriot was canceled.

This was reported by the Don Diario portal. In particular, Lunin was outraged by the words of his teammate that the referee unfairly did not count the goal, having recorded an offside from a player who was behind the Ukrainian goalkeeper at the time of the decisive pass.

Our goalkeeper categorically disagreed with these statements by Kroos, arranging a dispute with the German world champion on the plane. Real Madrid coach Carlo Anchelotti even had to intervene in the conflict and calmed his players down.

Other players of the Madrid team were confused by the words of Toni, who expressed his opinion on the injustice of canceling the Leipzig goal in an interview with the media. The players believed that the German had put his teammates in a unfavorable light.
