Tourist Sara Dalete noticed two strange figures 3 meters high while walking on the island of Ilha do Mel in Brazil, saying that they were aliens. Internet users began their own research and speculation about the presence of aliens in that place, because, according to Sara, it is impossible to reach the top of the mountain from the bottom.

The woman posted a video of the "unknown creatures" on Instagram. Both of them were moving their arms quickly, and then one of the "three-meter" figures began to descend the slope. Naturally, this news was checked for disinformation. One of them was UFO expert Nick Pope. "There is no credible evidence that anything related to UFOs or aliens happened, or that it was anything else," the expert told Metro.

Active discussions also began on social network X: one of the users created a thread explaining why it was actually ordinary people who were photographed on top of the mountain.

"Her husband shared the location of the shooting on his Instagram. Using Google Maps, we can determine the location and compare it with the footage. When we approach the hill using Google Maps, we realize that it is not as high as it looks in the video," explained Diogo Milagres.
