20 Days in Mariupol won a BAFTA award, while Barbie did not win a single statuette. Full list of award winners
On the night of February 18-19, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts announced the winners of the BAFTA Awards at the Royal Festival Hall in London. The documentary 20 Days in Mariupol by Ukrainian director and videographer Mstyslav Chernov won the best film in its category.
Meanwhile, the film "Oppenheimer" became the undisputed winner, but its main competitor "Barbie" did not receive a statuette in any of the nominations. OBOZ.UA has compiled a list of all the winners of the prestigious award.

On January 23, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the nominees for the prestigious Oscar 2024. The Ukrainian film 20 Days in Mariupol by director and videographer Mstyslav Chernov also competed for a place, and it was shortlisted in both nominations for which it was submitted.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the 81st Golden Globe Awards ceremony, which is called the Oscar rehearsal, took place in Los Angeles, USA, on the night of January 7-8.
