It's been 15 years since the first Twilight movie was released. Since then, the vampire theme has become a cult one in the film industry.

The main characters of the movie were famous all over the world, and almost all teenagers wanted to be like Edward, Bella and Jacob. OBOZREVATEL compared how the actors have changed since then.

• Bella - Kristen Stewart

Bella Swan was played by Kristen Stewart, an actress from the United States. The girl was invited to appear in Twilight at the age of 17, and it was this movie that made her a global star. After the stunning success of the saga, Stewart did not become a hostage to one role; she has now made many iconic films. Pattinson's next film appearances were different from his role as a romantic hero in the vampire saga. He played a cold-blooded billionaire, a veterinary student, and the superhero Batman. The Twilight star is considered one of the most beautiful men in the world.

• Jacob - Taylor Lautner

American actor Taylor Lautner was 16 years old when he was chosen for one of the key roles in Twilight. After the romantic movie, he did not become a cult star like his colleagues. His career declined and he gained weight.

His next movie after Twilight was released in 2016, Scream Queens.  The actor married blogger Taylor Dome in 2022. The couple often posts "love stories" online. Now Lautner has taken up sports and has lost the pounds he gained.

• Jessica - Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick from the United States became mega-popular after playing Bella's friend Jessica. She is the winner of the Oscar and Golden Globe awards. The star also became a singer and blogger. She has 25 million followers on Instagram. In 2020, the artist dated actor Bill Hader, but the couple broke up in 2022.

• Carlisle - Peter Facinelli

, Peter Facinelli  who played Carlisle Cullen, the head of a vampire family. The actor has an impressive filmography, but, surprisingly, his career did not flourish after filming the saga. His best and most famous role is that of Dr. Fitch Cooper in the TV series Nurse Jackie.
