Russian kamikaze drone found in Kyiv region

In the Brovary district of Kyiv region, local residents discovered a Russian kamikaze drone that did not detonate during the fall. Sappers were called to the site to remove the Shahed warhead.

This was reported by the press service of the Mobile Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Residents of the region were urged not to touch dangerous objects and to call sappers.

"In Brovary district of Kyiv region, a pyrotechnic group seized a warhead of an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle "Geranium-2." Fortunately, no one was injured. The ammunition was transported to a special site for further destruction by controlled explosion," the statement said.

As a reminder, the police bomb squad defused two enemy UAVs in Kyiv that did not detonate after falling. The kamikaze drones fell during a night attack on the city on Thursday, November 7.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, a combat unit of a "Geranium" (Shahed-136) UAV was found in the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region in an industrial zone. Sappers of the State Emergency Service were called to the scene.
