"Worthless. They have no weight": Russian Olympic champion speaks rudely about Norwegians

Oleksandr ChekanovNews

Olympic champion Dmitry Vasiliev, with his usual Russian rudeness, has made unfounded accusations against Norwegian skiers. The ardent Z-patriot called the 2025 World Cup in this sport "illiquid and worthless" without Russian representatives, accusing the northerners of doping.

Vasilyev said this in an interview with the Vse-ProSport portal. The accomplice of Vladimir Putin's dictatorial regime added that all the victories of the Norwegians in the absence of Russian rivals are allegedly devoid of value and weight, and the whole truth about banned drugs will soon be revealed.

"In my opinion, it's not even so much about the Russians, but about the fact that those athletes who use therapeutic exemptions under the pretext of illness and then win medals of the highest dignity are simply fraudsters. Accordingly, their medals lose their liquidity. After some time, people will find out what these Norwegian athletes were using to win. For me, these are worthless medals, they have no weight," Vasiliev said.

After the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi, the state doping system in Russia was exposed, with the FSB, among others, providing support. Even Putin recognized it. As a result of the investigation, Russia was stripped of 11 medals.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Veronika Stepanova, the Beijing 2020 Olympic champion in the ski relay, is again at the center of a scandal after a strange appeal to US Vice President Jay De Vance.
