World record? Japanese kickboxer knocks out compatriot after 2 seconds. Video

18-year-old Japanese kickboxer Kanata Ueno showed a sensational knockout at the K-1 World Grand Prix tournament in Tokyo. Ueno defeated his compatriot Sakuya Ueda in the 2nd second of the fight.

In the second round, Ueda tried to greet his opponent but received a powerful leg kick that instantly ended the fight.

During the replay from the side angle, it was clear that the greeting moment might not have been fully completed, which made fans question the sports ethics of the hit.

This is Ueno's third win of 2024. He finished all three early. In July, he won with a flying knee kick in the second round, and in September - by a knockout in the first round.
