Electric cars remain popular in Ukraine amid rising fuel prices. At the same time, cheap cars are leading the ranking. Experts have compiled a list of the most popular cars in the segment.
The statistics are provided by Ukravtoprom. In January 2025, Ukrainians bought 3,637 electric vehicles. This is almost 3% more than last year. Of the total, 3499 cars were passenger cars. The majority of them – 2853 units – were used electric cars. Such EVs are in the highest demand in Ukraine.
The most popular electric cars in Ukraine:
- BYD Song Plus (149 units);
- Zeekr 001 (59 units);
- Zeekr 7X (41 units);
- Audi Q4 e-tron (39 units);
- Volkswagen ID.4 (39 units).
As always, manufacturers of low-cost electric vehicles are in the lead. In addition, most of the vehicles that come to Ukraine from China are already used. This is cheaper because electric cars are very affordable in China.
This applies not only to Chinese companies but also to foreign brands that produce their models in China.
