The Ukrainian national team will play a nominally home match against North Macedonia in the 7th round of qualification for the European Football Championship on Saturday, October 14. The match at the Czech Republic's largest stadium, the Generali Arena, will start at 16:00 Kyiv time.

On March 26, the Ukrainians lost to England in the 1st round at the legendary London's Wembley Stadium with a score of 0:2 and then won a strong-willed victory over North Macedonia (3:2) in Skopje. On June 19, the Yellow and Blues beat Malta at the Anton Malatinsky Stadium with a small gap.
