The larger model of the new iPhone generation may come in seven colors at once. This is two colors more than the current top iPhone 15 Plus model.
According to the specialized publication MacRumors, this is evidenced by the data that appeared in the Fixed focus digital channel. This channel publishes leaks about technical innovations on the Chinese platform Weibo. Its authors reported that Apple's top-of-the-line smartphone model is currently available in five colors: blue, pink, yellow, green, and black. Its successor is due to be released in the fall and will be available in the following palette: blue, pink, yellow, green, black, as well as white and purple.
The channel's source did not provide any other details about the upcoming iPhone 16 Plus. Therefore, it is not clear from his data whether these colors will be presented in full or in part only in the iPhone 16 Plus, or whether they can be seen on the smaller iPhone 16. Given that both models are expected to be identical in terms of characteristics and differ only in size, experts suggest that the second option seems more likely.
However, the authors of the publication noted that the Fixed focus digital channel has an ambiguous reputation and sometimes provides inaccurate information. Therefore, they are now waiting for confirmation about the color scheme of the new iPhone from other sources.
As for the flagship iPhone 16 Pro models, there are rumors that they may appear in new titanium "space black" and "pink" colors. At the same time, the "blue titanium" shade may disappear. It will be replaced by pink. And "space black" will replace "titanium black".
