The father is a tough boss at work, but at home he can't say no to his children. During the crisis, the family agreed on a "yes day," in which the parents completely follow the children's wishes. According to Roiz, the film shows how the whole family explores the boundaries of freedom and responsibility, play and rules.
"Family Switch". The story of how everyone in the family swaps bodies, including the dog, during one of the biggest quarrels. A father and son, a daughter and her mother, and a baby and a dog. They have to repair and find the glass in the observatory, but the psychologist assures us that the film focuses on the family's ability to repair their relationship and find each other again.
"Freaky Friday" with Jamie Lee Curtis. The movie is about a psychologist mother and her teenage daughter who can't get along. In addition, after the death of her husband, the mother has a new lover. A fantastic body-swapping situation helps us to feel what is really important to the mother and daughter.
"13 Going On 30". The story of a teenage girl who feels like a failure at 13 and wakes up in the body of a 30-year-old. Roiz shares that the movie is a bit naive. However, according to her, it has something that can be important for children who want to become adults faster. And for adults who have forgotten how to be children.
"17 Again". A movie where a man who was disappointed with his life, who had brilliant athletic abilities in his youth and planned a sports career, gives up everything because his girlfriend says she is pregnant. Now he is bored at work, does not feel close to his wife, who is planning to divorce him, and his children, who are growing apart. But after a strange encounter, he returns to his 17 years when he made important decisions. Roiz notes that the film contains conversations about sex, as well as an important monologue about respecting a girl's decision and consent to an intimate relationship.
"Groundhog Day". A story about a man who has the same day repeated every day. At first, when he realizes this, he spends it doing whatever he wants, because he doesn't feel any consequences. However, he quickly gets bored with this story, so after unsuccessful attempts to commit suicide, the protagonist decides to do good deeds that only he remembers the next day. In the end, the time loop is broken.
"Big" with Tom Hanks. A movie in which the teenage protagonist dreams of becoming an adult as soon as possible, and one day it comes true. His life becomes successful: he moves to another city, his career quickly gains momentum, and he gets a girlfriend. However, in his heart, he is a twelve-year-old boy who dreams of returning to his parents, because he did not have time to spend with them as a child.
The cartoon "Turning red" . A story in which a teenage girl turns into a big red panda whenever she starts to worry. Later, she learns that this ability is hereditary and decides to get rid of it. However, her teenage desires stop her before the ritual that needs to be performed. So she learns to "fight her inner beast".
The cartoon "Brave". The film follows the behavior of a teenage girl who decides to disobey her family's rules and brings trouble to everyone. She uses magic to bewitch her mother. In order to break the spell, she has to find a common language with a wild bear, into which she turns.
"The cartoons are about the relationship between a mother and a teenage daughter, growing up, finding one's role and strength, resistance and aggression, adult control and guardianship, and reconciliation and respect. It's also about the power of the family," said Roiz.
