What to add to the minced meat for cutlets to make them juicy: add only one ingredient

Homemade cutlets can be made from any meat, as well as liver, legumes, carrots, crab sticks, peas, and buckwheat. To make the chicken cutlets juicy and keep their shape, cooks advise adding grated zucchini to the minced meat.

The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for delicious, juicy chicken cutlets with grated zucchini.

Ingredients:

  • Minced chicken – 500 g
  • Zucchini – 350 g (grate on a fine grater)
  • Onion – 1 piece (small)
  • Dill – to taste
  • Sour cream – 2 tsp
  • Egg – 1 pc.
  • Salt, pepper, turmeric – to taste
  • Butter – for baking

Method of preparation:

1. Grate the zucchini on a fine grater, add salt, and leave for 10 minutes. Squeeze out the liquid. Blend the onion with dill in a blender. Add sour cream (2 tsp) to the onion and dill.

2. Beat the egg into the minced meat, add the chopped onion, dill with sour cream, salt, pepper, and turmeric, then mix.

3. Fry the cutlets in a preheated frying pan on both sides until golden brown.

4. Put the cutlets in a baking dish, and add a little butter. Then bake in the oven at 200°C for 25 minutes.
