Experts analyzed data from publicly available sources such as social networks, streaming services, online games, and financial accounts. The results showed that 17 of the 20 most common passwords could be cracked in less than a second.

The most popular passwords among users:

• A variation of numbers from 1 to 10, the most common is 123456;
• admin;
• password;
• minecraft;
• jimjim30 - such a seemingly random password can be guessed in just 40 seconds.

In conclusion, the team noted that passwords are becoming harder to crack over time. But you still need to be creative when creating a code. Use a complex password that contains at least 20 characters, a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

Avoid information that is easy to guess, such as birthdays, names, or common words. Regularly check the strength of your passwords to make sure they are not outdated or accessible to fraudsters.
