What could have poisoned Budanov's wife: what is her condition now

Marianna Budanova, the wife of intelligence chief Kyrylo Budanov, was poisoned with heavy metals through food. Tests showed that the woman was poisoned with arsenic and mercury.

This was reported to OBOZ.UA by Lieutenant General Valeriy Kondratyuk, the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service in 2020-2021, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate in 2015-2016. Marianna Budanova needs medical supervision, but her life is not in danger.

It should be noted that the poisoning of Marianna Budanova became known on November 28. It was noticed in time, so serious consequences were avoided. The intelligence chief's wife is undergoing treatment in Ukraine.

In addition, not only the head's wife was poisoned, but also several employees of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine. We are talking about the heads of certain areas that are responsible for operations against Russia.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, law enforcement officers are investigating the case of the DIU head's wife as an attempted murder. It is also noted that attempts were made on Kyrylo Budanov before and after Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov also said that his wife lives with him in his office, although she does not work for the Main Intelligence Directorate.
