"We will not back down": Russian Volunteer Corps announces new operations on the territory of Russia. Video

The Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) has stated that it is not backing down from its plans. The organization is scaling up, recruiting new people and acquiring equipment for further operations, both in Russia and on the eastern front in general.

The volunteers plan to develop the corps as a large military and political platform. This was stated by the Chief of Staff of the RVC, Alexandr, call sign "Fortuna," on OBOZ Talk.

According to him, the territory bordering Russia is currently turning into a "gray zone". According to the soldier, in terms of military practice, it should be expanded by at least 30 kilometers.

He explained that this territory would be a certain guarantee of security for Ukraine's border areas. If there is a demilitarized zone, it will be impossible to use multiple launch rocket systems and artillery. Therefore, it will guarantee security, in particular, for Kharkiv, Sumy and smaller settlements.

Fortuna also reported that none of their fighters have been taken prisoner by Russia.

"We have losses, of course, we are open about it. We will publish the final figures, we never hide it," he added.

"We are very respectful and proud to cover the combat path of our guys. We are proud that they fought. We are very sorry that they will not see victory. They gave the most important thing for it: they gave their lives," the chief of staff said, adding that all the figures would be published later.

RVC head said that there is an information blockade in the Belgorod region. People do not understand what is happening, the authorities keep them in the dark, prevent evacuation and assure them that everything will be over soon.

Earlier, residents of Belgorod complained that the situation has become much worse than before. The city is empty, there is constant shelling, and people leave their homes only to buy medicine or food. At the same time, local authorities and propaganda television are silent about the scale of the shelling.
