The Ukrainian athlete gave a frank interview

Ukraine's biathlete Hanna Kryvonos has apologized for her performance in the classic mixed relay at the seventh stage of the World Cup in Holmenkollen. The 26-year-old from Sumy earned a 3-lap penalty, after which our team was removed as a lap team for the first time in the history of the World Cup.

"It's hard to find words. I'm very ashamed and offended by this failure, I apologize to the fans and the guys who could not get to the start because of me. I'm also ashamed of the coaches and the service," Tribuna.com quoted Kryvonos as saying.

The athlete admitted that the failed result was solely on her conscience.

"There was no strong wind, there was psychological pressure after the unsuccessful first shooting, and in the second shooting everything "fell apart" - this is probably the first time in history that Ukraine has been staked, well... But my name will be in history" (a minute of "positive"). It happened as it happened..." Hanna summarized.

The Ukrainian biathlete summarized that the only positive aspect of the race is that younger athletes will understand how not to perform.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the day before, Swiss biathlete Lena Hecki Gross sensationally won the mass start race at the 7th stage of the World Cup. The 28-year-old representative of the Swiss armed forces left no chance for her titled competitors from the French national team.
