Vacation in Turkey may become significantly cheaper: tourists are prepared for alcohol-free all-inclusive

Turkey plans to introduce a new all-inclusive model

Turkey is planning to change the concept of the all-inclusive format. According to hotel owners, this system is expensive for both them and some ordinary tourists. In particular, there are plans to introduce a non-alcoholic all inclusive, i.e. one that does not include unlimited drinking.

The usual all-inclusive format may be replaced by a system called "pay only for what you use". This is stated in the message of the President of the Association of Hoteliers and Tour Operators of the Mediterranean Kaan Kavaloglu.

In his opinion, the new concept will make a vacation in Turkey much cheaper and therefore more attractive to tourists. It turns out that the situation will be more favorable both for vacationers, who will pay less, and for businesses, as the number of tourists will increase due to lower prices.

The refusal of unlimited alcohol comes to the fore. Tourists who don't drink alcohol at all think it's unfair that they have to pay the same price for all-inclusive as people who use a free bar.

"Due to high competition, hotels have inflated all-inclusive themselves. But the new model will help cut costs and make vacation prices more attractive to tourists. It is already on the agenda and is being seriously discussed by businesses. The first step is to introduce non-alcoholic all-inclusive," commented Kavaloglu.

The introduction of an alternative to the classic all-inclusive format was also supported by Korhan Alshan, CEO of Nirvana Hotels.

He said: "The all-inclusive system will not disappear. We need to diversify the content of this system. Consumers have started to ask themselves why they pay for services they don't use. We are also thinking about the question, "Why does a tourist who does not drink alcohol during his vacation pay for it?" We plan to offer a model where the consumer can choose the products he or she will use and pay only for them."
