Usyk wants to move: plans for the Joshua-Fury fight announced

Oleksandr ChekanovNews
Al al-Sheikh shared his plans

Turki Al Al-Sheikh, the head of the General Directorate of Entertainment in Saudi Arabia, intends to hold a fight between Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) immediately after the Gypsy King's rematch with Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs). However, the official is not sure that the Manchester-born fighter will accept the fight with his compatriot.

Al-Al-Sheikh said this in an interview with talkSPORT. He does not rule out the possibility that Fury will decide to end his career after the second fight with Usyk. In addition, the Saudi emphasized that he was interested in holding a confrontation between Tyson and Alexander regardless of the outcome of the fight between the Ukrainian and the Ritan.

"For business, the Fury-Joshua fight is a huge event. If Usyk wins the rematch, I still want to see Fury vs. Joshua if they accept it. I'm not going to try to arrange a third fight between Usyk and Joshua before the Fury-Joshua fight. But you don't know the future. Imagine that Tyson wants to retire after the fight with Usyk... I'll make him an offer, but if he refuses, what can I do?" said Al Sheikh.

It should be noted that Joshua will fight his compatriot Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs). At stake in the fight will be the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt, which Usyk was forced to give up. At the same time, the Ukrainian emphasized that he was interested in holding a third fight against Anthony.

The rematch between Usman and Fury will take place on December 21. The fantastic prize money for the second fight is already known.

Our compatriot shared his expectations from the second fight with Tyson and responded to the accusations of cheating during the fight with Fury on May 18. In addition, Oleksandr commented on the injury he sustained in the fight.
