Usyk vs. Klychko fight? Krasiuk revealed an insight

Maksym InshakovNews

The promoter of WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs), Oleksandr Krasiuk, said that his client plans to have a good rest. Then Usyk will decide on his opponent, who could be the winner of the Dubois-Parker fight.

A theoretical fight with Volodymyr Klychko, whose return to big boxing has been the subject of much recent news, should not be discounted either.

"Usyk will rest. This is number one. Number two, we don't know what will happen next, a lot depends on the Parker-Dubois fight. Number three - we heard from the media that Volodymyr Klychko wants to become the oldest champion in history, breaking George Foreman's record. But for now, it's just a dream, maybe a plan, a thought. We heard it from Turki Al Sheikh, so it's also possible," Krasiuk admitted on the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube channel.

Answering the interviewer's question who he thinks will win: Parker or Dubois, Krasiuk preferred the New Zealander.

"I'm betting on Parker, no disrespect to Daniel, just my personal opinion, I don't claim to be a soothsayer, but I think Parker has a better chance of winning. A lot will depend on the outcome of this fight. If Joseph Parker wins, it will whet Oleksandr's appetite, and we would like to hold this fight. It will be again for the title of undefeated champion with Parker taking the IBF title," said Oleksandr.

We would like to remind you that Usyk already held all the belts of the division when he defeated Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) last May. However, our compatriot was forced to give up the IBF title for a rematch with the Gypsy King.

The trophy eventually went to Dubois, who knocked out Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).

Oleksandr defeated Daniel by TKO in the ninth round in August 2023, and the Briton scored with a dirty punch below the belt.
