The fight between Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion may take place no earlier than the end of summer. This was stated by promoter Frank Warren in an interview with Box Nation YouTube channel. The head of Queensberry Promotions, which manages Dubois' affairs, emphasized that Usyk's team and the Ukrainian himself are interested in organizing a fight for all the belts of the king's division.

"Next week we will decide what to do next. Usyk's team has made their position clear. I met with them and they want this fight. All four belts are on the line, there was a lot of excitement after the first fight and all the talk around it. Since then, Dubois, who has never shied away from challenges, wants this fight. That's why he accepted the fight with Parker to earn that chance. In the end, Usyk wasn't planning to fight until late summer or fall," Warren said.
