Usyk's main trump card in the fight with Fury is named

The unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) has an advantage over Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) due to his extensive experience in amateur boxing. This is what will help the Ukrainian to win the fight for all four belts of the Royal division.

Oleksandr Krasiuk, the promoter, expressed his confidence in this in an interview with Boxing News. The head of K2 Promotions, which manages Usyk's affairs, emphasized that the rivals are equal in almost all components, but Fury will not be helped by his size advantage.

"Size doesn't mean that much in boxing. My experience and intuition tell me that it's not about physical attributes. It's about skill, boxing IQ, psychology, mentality. Tyson has it all: skill, footwork, speed, boxing IQ and experience, he knows how to behave in the ring, and he has the physical power. Usyk has all the same things, except for his size. But he has something from the past: a great experience in the amateurs. That's why I'm calm and relaxed," Krasiuk said.

As a reminder, the Usyk-Fury fight was originally scheduled for December 23 but was postponed to February. This happened after the Gypsy King defeated Francis Ngannou (0-1, 0 KOs) by a split decision. Moreover, Tyson was knocked out in the third round, the seventh time in his career.

The media outlet named a new date for the fight and claimed that the British boxer faces a $240 million lawsuit if he refuses to fight Usyk on December 23. A video of Oleksandr's reaction to Tyson's knockdown in the third round of the fight with Francis was also posted online.
