"Until Mudryk learns..." Khatskevich names those responsible for Ukraine's failure at Euro 2024

Former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv Oleksandr Khatskevich criticized Shakhtar Donetsk for their performance at the 2024 European Championships, which ended in Germany. The Belarusian expert noted that the Orange and Blacks literally failed the championship.

Khatskevich said this in an interview with Ukrainian Football. The legendary Dynamo player also criticized Chelsea winger Mikhail Mudryk, whom he accused of still relying solely on his speed.

"Sudakov has failed. Until Mudryk learns to play for the team, and instead of relying on speed alone and rushing forward like a 'headless horseman', nothing good will happen. He needs to improve his understanding of the game with his partners, and not rely only on speed and shot, which we saw only in the game with Iceland, but we did not see anything from him at the Euros. If you look at it this way, Shakhtar's players were not ready for the championship either. Konoplya, for example, who was replaced by Tymchyk," Khatskevich said.
