"Unsettled scores": Russian propaganda demands that Usyk fight Kadyrov's "brother"

Beterbiev wants to fight Usyk

Russian propagandists continue to write tall tales about Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) after his victory in the rematch with Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs). Now they are demanding that our compatriot fight the absolute light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs), with whom the Ukrainian allegedly "has had some open scores since the days of the amateur ring."

This was reported by Sovetskyy Sport, a media outlet that discusses Usyk's prospects after he defeated all the top heavyweights on the planet. The media outlet put forward the absurd idea that a fight against Beterbiev, whom he beat at the Olympic Games and the World Championships, looks incredibly interesting for the Ukrainian.

"A hypothetical clash with the undefeated Russian champion Artur Beterbiev (he used to call Ramzan Kadyrov his brother – ed.) looks much more interesting. Yes, he fights in the light heavyweight division, but he has repeatedly stated that he is ready to move up in weight for a fight with Usyk. Such a fight would be a huge event for boxing, as two undefeated champions would face off to find out who is really the best. They have unresolved scores from their amateur days," the Russians write.

It should be noted that earlier, Sovetsky Sport hysterically accused Alexander of "siding with the terrorists." After the rematch with Fury, our compatriot reminded the Russians of the will of the Ukrainian people by raising the saber of Hetman Ivan Mazepa above his head. The details of this performance were later revealed.

We would like to remind you that all three judges of the Usyk-Fury 2 fight gave the victory to the Ukrainian boxer with a score of 116-112. In addition, it became known what result was recorded by artificial intelligence.

This angered Tyson, who called himself the strongest with a difference of at least three rounds. The Briton also staged a demarche after the fight.

Former champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) gave his version of the rounds. And the legendary Lennox Lewis admitted that he was not impressed with the fight.

In addition, promoter Eddie Hearn disputed the score of the rematch between Usyk and Fury. In turn, the British media learned what Tyson was told before the 12th round of the fight.

At the same time, impressive statistics of the opponents' punches in the fight were published. A photo showed what Fury's face looked like after 100 missed punches from Usyk.

After the victory, the Ukrainian boxer decided on his next opponent and also made a confession about his rematch with Tyson.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Paris Fury's reaction was caught on camera when Alexander was announced the winner of the rematch with Tyson. In addition, the fight was shown in a famous cartoon. And in Russia, fake words of the British about Volodymyr Zelenskyy began to spread.
