The fight ended in the second round

Unbeaten American boxer Raymond Muratalla (22-0, 17 KOs) got a spectacular victory over Mexican Jesus Antonio Perez (25-5, 18 KOs). The lightweight bout in New York ended early.

Initially, the 27-year-old Muratalla seized the center of the ring, breaking his opponent's defense time after time with powerful side kicks. The denouement came in the second round.

Perez missed a left hook and found himself on the canvas. He was able to get up and continue the fight but with no particular resistance against his opponent. After a series of missed punches, the referee stopped the one-sided beating.

During the quick interview, Muratalla stated that he is ready to fight both Vasyl Lomachenko and Denys Berinchyk.

We remind you that Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs) became the new WBO lightweight world champion. On May 19 in the United States, the London 2012 Olympic medalist defeated titular Mexican Emanuel Navarrete (38-2-1, 31 KOs), who holds the WBO belt in the second welterweight division.

Speaking of 36-year-old Lomachenko, he plans to return to boxing in 2025 to defend his IBF lightweight title. The two-time Olympic gold medalist won the title in May, defeating George Kambosos in the 11th round in Australia by technical knockout.
