Ukrainian swimmer Andriy Trusov has been disqualified from the final of the 2024 Paralympic Games. The 24-year-old native of Donetsk region was second in the 100m breaststroke in the SB6 class (athletes with impaired motor functions, amputated limbs or growth disorders).

However, after the race, Trusov's result was canceled and his silver medal was given to Colombian Nelson Crispin Corzo. Another Ukrainian, Yevhen Bohodayko, took third place. Chinese parasailor Yang Hong won the event.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, on September 1, the Ukrainian national team won its third gold medal of the 2024 Paralympics.
