The 3x3 World Basketball Championship in the U-18 age group has ended in Debrecen. Both Ukrainian national teams finished the tournament in the top 5.

The women's national team with Svitlana Polantseva, Yelyzaveta Radlovska, Yelyna Synyakova, and Taisiia Vypovska, led by Olga Oleksiychyk, finished fifth, losing to China in the quarterfinals and becoming the best in terms of additional indicators among the teams that lost in the quarterfinals.

This is the best result in the history of the Ukrainian U-18 national teams at the 3x3 World Championships. Before that, the best result was sixth place in 2013.

Sinyakova and Vypovska were the most productive members of the Ukrainian national team with 26 points each. At the same time, Vipovska made 19 one-pointers and 3 long shots, and Sinyakova had 25 points from the paint.

Radlovska scored 12 points and Poliantseva 13 points. Both made 4 long shots. Interestingly, all four Ukrainians made only 1 free throw in the four games they played.

The men's national team with Bohdan Bur, Maksym Hryshchuk, Bohdan Malich and Yegor Sushkin, led by Yaroslav Kovalev, came out of second place in the group, beat Latvia in the quarterfinals, and then lost to Spain and France.

The fourth place is a repeat of the best result of the Ukrainian U-18 men's national teams at the 3x3 World Championships. The boys achieved the same result in 2022.

Sushkin was the team's highest-scoring player with 45 points. Sushkin made 13 one-pointers, 4 long shots, and 24 free throws.

Malic was the second highest scorer on the team. He scored 36 points, including 13 one-pointers, 11 two-pointers and 1 made free throw.

Bur scored 19 points in 6 games (13 points, 2 two-pointers and free throws), and Grischuk scored 13 points (7 points, 2 two-pointers and free throws).

The US national teams became world champions in both boys and girls. The men's team lost its player Amir Jenkins Jr. to injury in the first game and competed with only three players, but this did not prevent them from winning seven victories in seven games and winning the gold medal.

In the final match, the United States defeated Spain 21-13. In the bronze medal match, France defeated Ukraine 21-12.

In the girls' final match, the United States defeated Japan 21-19, and the Chinese team won bronze medals after beating Germany 21-17.
