On Thursday, February 8, the draw for the UEFA Nations League group stage of the 2024/2025 season took place in Paris. The Ukrainian national football team, like last season, will play in Division B. Serhiy Rebrov's rivals in Group 1 will be the Czech Republic, Albania, and Georgia.

The group tournament will traditionally be played in two rounds. The best teams in their quartets in Division B will be promoted to Division A. The worst will be relegated to Division C.
The second position in the group gives the right to play head-to-head matches for promotion. The teams that will take the final third place will compete with one of the representatives of the lower division for the right to remain at the same level.
The group stage matches are scheduled from September to November 2024. The butt matches will take place in March 2025.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on March 21, 2024, at the Bilino Pole arena in the Bosnian city of Zenica, the Ukrainian national football team will play a semifinal playoff match for the 2024 European Championship against the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
If Ukraine passes the Bosnians, it will meet the winner of the Israel – Iceland match in four days at the Wroclaw stadium. According to the updated regulations, even in the event of a defeat, Ukrainian players will still play a second playoff match, but with the loser of the aforementioned pair.
It should be noted that Serhiy Rebrov's team already knows who they will meet in the final of Euro 2024 if they make it to the championship.
