Ukraine has set a historic achievement of the European Football Championships

The Ukrainian national football team has become the first team in the history of the European Championships to fail to advance from the group with four points, according to the statistical portal OptaJose. Our players took the final fourth place in Group E and left Euro 2024.

"It's unpleasant not to advance with four points - there's nothing to say. We had to solve everything in the first two matches," Ukrainian defender Ilya Zabarny said after the game.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in the 1st round, the Yellow and Blues sensationally and without a chance lost to one of the weakest participants in the championship, Romania, in the first match of Group E - 0: 3.

In the second round in Düsseldorf, our team showed character and snatched a strong-willed victory over Slovakia with a score of 2: 1.

In the third round, Serhiy Rebrov's team failed to beat Belgium. The match at the Stuttgart Arena in Germany ended 0-0.

In a parallel match in Group E, Romania and Slovakia also failed to find a winner (1:1). As a result, Ukraine remained in 4th place and finished the tournament.
