Rahman gave a forecast for the Usyk-Fury fight
Famous American boxer Hasim Rahman expressed confidence that Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) will defeat British Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The former world champion noted that our compatriot has a higher level of skills and an amazing amateur career.
Rahman expressed this opinion in an interview with the FightHype YouTube channel, Boxing Social reports. He noted that Fury himself often tried to copy Usyk's actions in his fights, and the Ukrainian boxer has long proven his ability to withstand the blows of larger opponents.
"I always bet on Usyk vs. Fury. I think Tyson pretended to be Usyk in his fights. He had the advantage in movement and punching, and most heavyweights are straightforward, hoping for a knockout. Tyson can use his movement, weight, and athleticism against most. But Usyk has boxing skills, he's already fought future champions. Look at his record. He has a great career. Obviously, he can withstand the blows of big guys. I'm for Usyk in this fight," Rahman said.
Earlier, the media announced the date of the Usyk-Fury fight, which was scheduled for December 23. Journalists also claimed that the British boxer was facing a $240 million lawsuit if he refused to enter the ring with Alexander by the end of the year.
