Tyson Fury began to prepare for his return: the Briton received a signal from Turki Al al-Sheikh
Turki Al Al-Sheikh, the head of Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Entertainment, intends to discuss his return to the ring with Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs). The main organizer of boxing fights in the world noted that he understands the British fighter's decision to end his career, but it may change.
The official said this in an interview with TalkSPORT. Al al-Sheikh emphasized that he would like to see Fury's confrontation with his compatriot Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs), but denied information about the fee that British boxers could expect in such a fight.
"We want to see Tyson in more big fights, but I can understand his decision. But as a boxing fan, I don't like it. At the same time, this decision may change later. I will support him and discuss it with him. I will leave him alone for a while to be with his family, and then we can discuss his comeback. But a lot of rumors don't help us. No one is going to offer £500 million for the fight, those numbers are wrong," said the Arabian.
It's important to note that Tyson has already announced his retirement twice. In 2017, he announced that he was retiring from boxing after defeating Volodymyr Klychko, and in 2022, he defeated Dillian Whyte (30-3, 20 KOs). After those announcements, Fury returned to the ring a few months later.
Last year, the Briton suffered two defeats from Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs). In addition, Fury's mysterious words about ending his career were revealed.
