Tymoshchuk left Russia and lives in another country, - American coach
The only American coach in Ukrainian football, Dennis Lukens, expressed confidence that the traitor to our country, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, has left Russia. Some time ago, the former coach of Kherson's Crystal spoke with the former captain of the Blue and Yellows, who allegedly asked him to help him leave Russia.
Luxens said this in an interview with Ukrainian Football. According to the U.S. expert, Tymoshchuk does not speak out about Russia's military aggression against our country and a full-scale invasion because he fears for his freedom and the lives of his loved ones.
"Tymoshchuk was in Russia before the war, he played for Zenit. He has a Russian wife and Russian children. Relations between Russia and Ukraine were good before the war. The war caught him there. What was he supposed to do? Go out and protest against Putin? He would have been arrested and put in jail immediately. As far as I understand, Tymoshchuk has already left Russia and lives in another country. We are friends, but not close ones. I talked to him a few days ago. He is in a very difficult situation. I wish him only the best. He lost everything in Ukraine, his reputation and his regalia, and as I understand it, he left everything in Russia," Lukens said.
It should be noted that Zenit's website says nothing about the Ukrainian's dismissal from the club. He is listed on the team's coaching staff.
As a reminder, Anatoliy refused to condemn Russia for the attack on Ukraine and only managed to squeeze out a small Instagram story in which he simply called for peace.
Later, it was reported that Tymoshchuk is trying to obtain a Romanian passport. The Zenit coach is trying to circumvent the sanctions imposed on him by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
In addition, it was revealed that the traitor to Ukraine was recruited by the Federal Security Service (FSB), which is the reason for his silence on the war.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk filed a lawsuit against Ukraine for stripping him of all his awards and titles and banning him from football activities. And the head coach of the national team Serhii Riebrov spoke harshly about his former teammate.
